The Beginning

Why did I accept this commission to design a moderate-sized office building with a modest budget but extremely high aspirations?

I guess I was intrigued.

Dennis Cuku is also an intriguing person. The way he talks, especially his double-take phrases, made me wonder if he was for real; and Dennis and Christy together are like firecrackers.

They share my conviction that we need to do things in a better way, so that we have hope for preserving the world for our children. I was excited by the opportunity to make bold plans, push expectations further, take on the challenge of a net-zero energy building and more.

We are all in it together.
